The “HELLO 100” of the Telecommunication Department is a phrase that instantly occurs to anybody in danger. The Tamil Nadu Police Radio branch was established in October 1948 with army disposed HF radios. Later in 1995, the branch was renamed as the Police Telecommunication Department. With information being the backbone of any organization, the Tamil Nadu Telecommunication department has always supported the police force with the required infrastructure and the technical support to prevent and resolve crimes.
